I write Go for a living and for fun, and I currently live in Serbia.
Most of my free time goes into projects that start with "how hard can it be?" and end up with a few thousand lines of code. Some of them are even useful.
GoChat: my attempt at a Discord-style chat that scales. Servers, channels, voice calls and screen sharing, all in Go, split into small services. It's the project I've spent the most time on.
Emerald: a visual automation tool that ships as one binary. You wire nodes together, and they run on a schedule, a webhook or a Telegram message. It also has LLM agents that can poke at Proxmox and Kubernetes.
go-dave: Discord's end-to-end encryption protocol for calls, implemented in Go. This one was a fun rabbit hole.
- needle-go: a Go rewrite of an existing library
- localize-app: translation and OCR with a local LLM
- neuropipe: an earlier take on blueprint-style automation
- beacon-room: a manager for SteamVR base stations

I'm also looking for a backend (Go) job, either in Serbia or remote, so if you have something, write to me.
