Summary of Changes
Source Helm installs now select the 0.0.8 Operator and Console images. The Operator package, lockfiles, chart versions, and README status consistently identify release 0.0.8.
CI runs on release tag pushes and checks the normalized tag against committed release metadata. The e2e harness verifies default image versions in both source and packaged charts, accepts matching tags with and without a
vprefix, and rejects mismatched or empty tag versions.Checklist

Source chart upgrades use the 0.0.8 images by default. Explicit image tag overrides remain supported.
