Hi, I'm Serif Colakel 👋

AI Chapter Lead | Full-Stack Software Engineer

I build software across web, mobile, desktop, backend, and AI platforms. My experience spans TypeScript, React, React Native, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS, .NET, and Go, with a background in banking, fintech, and investment products.

At Odeabank, I lead the technical direction and hands-on development of an internal AI platform. It brings together conversational AI, deterministic agents, reusable skills and prompts, and workflow automation. I also drive the development of approximately 20 .NET-based MCP servers that connect AI workflows to enterprise tools and data sources.

My work focuses on agent orchestration, MCP integrations, AI developer tooling, and helping engineering and analyst teams apply AI to real workflows. I’m interested in building secure, practical AI systems that go beyond basic chatbot experiences.

Outside my role, I build fintech products including the Fonyx mobile app and the TEFAS API. I also write about software engineering and technology on DEV.to and Medium.
